The NTA will issue the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 answer key soon on its official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The testing agency follows a normalisation process to maintain fairness in the multi-shift computer-based JEE Mains 2026 exams.
NTA converts candidates’ raw scores into percentiles based on their relative performance in each shift. As a result, a slightly lower raw score in a more difficult shift can still yield a higher percentile than a higher score in an easier shift. The final merit list is compiled using a candidate’s best NTA score from both sessions, making consistent performance across attempts crucial.

The remaining seven were said to contain issues such as incorrect numerical values, wrong answer choices, or more than one correct answer. Physics accounted for the highest number of disputed questions among all subjects.
